The House of Ruth (WIT) program is a faith based, grassroots sober living facility for female ex-offenders/homeless with substance abuse/mental health issues. The program provides transitional housing and supportive services to female ex-offenders transitioning from prison to self-sufficiency. Program length of stay is up to 12 months. The program fosters the following key positive and ethical values: respect, confidence, accountability, character, integrity, commitment, honesty, and teamwork. Program participants significantly improve employment opportunities through training programs designed to help them successfully transition back into society while working towards self sufficiency. The House of Ruth is a second chance opportunity, therefore substance abuse of any kind will not be tolerated.
